Job Creation and Skills Development

Skills development

A key goal of Kayema is to  create jobs within local communities through introducing a range of skills such as installation of SWH units.

SME Development

Kayema sources goods from local SME suppliers where ever possible and transfers skills so that the maximum amount of local SME’s benefit from the program.

Job creation

Kayema  has experience in training artisans and is equipped to scale up such an extensive skills training program.

Community development

Schools, hospitals, prisons would be prioritized to become beneficiaries of this program by installing systems at these facilities so that they can see first hand the benefits of SWH. Educational programs around the innovative use of solar energy may be used as opportunities to develop skills on campus.
